The New Phenix Maxim Series utilizes a Multi-axis Carbon Fiber scrim. This allows Phenix to build extremely light and sensitive rods. Phenix then utilizes a cross wrapped Carbon Tape to insure strength and proper flex. It also features a new Phenix Designed up locking reel seat. The Casting models feature a split trigger design with the durability and performance of a single piece reel seat. Slender High density EVA handles are comfortable for all day use.

The New M1 Bass Rods feature a vortex solid one-piece blank for increased sensitivity. The M1 utilizes a custom carbon fiber reel seat, Essex SiC guides, clip style hook keeper, and a AAA grade Portuguese cork grip.
