The full-cage design is the solution for thin-diameter running lines that are inclined to escape through spool/line-guard gaps. Speedster S HD and Speedster S have a taller and narrower format compared to other reels in our lineup.

At its heart, the stop-anything Cobalt drag system features proprietary Teflon alloy drag cone, Carbon PEEK thrust washers, custom self-lubricating seals, and a certified IPX8 waterproof rating. Large drag knob makes it easy to grip and quickly change settings. Pressure-cast and machined frame and spool has an ultra-large arbor, integrated reel foot, and pocket spar design that maximizes strength-to-weight ratio.

Like our Cobalt reel, it holds an IPX8 waterproof rating to 100 ft.
