The mount attaches to the top of your fiberglass bass boat's flat casting deck through a 4 riser that allows the system baseplate arm to clear the rub rail. The aluminum baseplate arm attaches to a small base, holding the 48 downrod in place. Your transducer assembly secures to the mounting plate through 2 nylon thumbscrews.
